We are looking for qualified and committed faculty members to join our Department of Computer Applications. The ideal candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding student projects, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to academic excellence through research and innovation.
Required Skills
Strong academic background in Computer Science / Applications
Expertise in programming, software engineering, data science, AI/ML, networking, databases, and emerging technologies
Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
Research aptitude with publications in reputed journals
Ability to use digital learning tools and modern pedagogy
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials for MCA/BCA courses
Develop curriculum, teaching material, and innovative learning methodologies
Guide students in academic projects, research, and career development
Undertake research, publications, and consultancy assignments
Participate in departmental and institutional academic activities
Collaborate with industry and academia for knowledge exchange and placement support
Basic Qualifications
Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Computer Applications
Educational qualifications, experience, and pay scale as per AICTE / Affiliating University / UGC / Government of Maharashtra norms.
Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D., NET/SET qualification, and relevant teaching/research/industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Applications / Computer Science / Information Technology (as per AICTE/UGC norms)
NET/SET qualified candidates will be given preference
Strong research profile with publications in reputed UGC/Scopus/SCI journals
Experience in guiding MCA dissertations / BCA projects
Exposure to NBA/NAAC accreditation processes
Experience in curriculum design, outcome-based education (OBE), and blended learning
Industry experience in software development, AI/ML, cloud computing, data science, cybersecurity, or related areas
Active participation in conferences, workshops, FDPs, and professional bodies (IEEE, ACM, CSI, etc.)
Strong commitment to student mentoring, placement support, and academic innovation
