Sangamner Medical Foundation & Research Institute is an organization started in 1994 by a renowned cardiologist of the Sangamner city, who is a noble physician, who wanted to uplift the medical delivery system in the area, acknowledging the deficiencies in the educational research system. He started the Institution with likely minded friends & started a multispecialty Hospital & Homoeopathic Medical College, Polytechnic College, Pharmacy College & Nursing College.
