Central vacuum access is great for maintenance without demo. I place panels near floor level or in closets and choose ones with soft-close magnets or dampened latches—no metallic clank when doors shut. The model I used has thick plastic that absorbs vibration from the pipes and a smooth interior so hoses don't snag. Painted to match surrounding walls they disappear completely. I've added two new inlets since install without cutting new holes. I fitted several good access panel units (14×18) at pipe junctions and they're silent and easy to use. Label inside lightly for quick reference.
