Dr. Ashok Ithape a famous Cardiologist and General Physician, President of Sangamner Medical Foundation and Research Institute whose entire life is gone in the rural area of Sangamner periphery. With the blessings of Laxmi and Saraswati he has started Sangamner Medical Foundation and Research Institute in 1994-1995. After starting this society he worked a lot for the society through the social work around and in the Sangamner area.
In 2000-2001 Sangamner Medical Foundation and Research Institute has started Vamanrao Ithape Homoeopathic Medical College in the heart of city, New Nagar Road Sangamner and through this Medical college many poor and needy students of the surrounding area has got opportunity and got succeeded to become a doctor. He has not stopped here only…. In the year 2005-2006 he started Vamanrao Ithape D. Pharmacy college and also purchased more than 15 acres land for the development of Institute. Today many student are happily taking Higher Education in this huge campus.
